The Vagabond Tote was designed to put those leftover bits and pieces of yarn to good use. Dig through your scrap yarn stash, choose your colours and create a tote that is uniquely yours.
The bag features a simple filet mesh base and includes written instructions in both US and UK crochet terminology, with photographs throughout.
The Strap
The sample shown uses a macramé strap. Instructions for making the macramé strap are not included in the pattern, but a source for the method used is provided.
The pattern also includes basic instructions for a simple crochet strap if you prefer to crochet your own.
Gauge & Size
Gauge is not particularly relevant to this project, as it will vary depending on the yarn scraps you choose.
The finished size will also vary according to your yarn selection and how you work the bag.

5.5 mm (I) crochet hook
6.5 mm (K) crochet hook
4.5 mm crochet hook
Scrap yarn: approximately 1094–1203 yards (1000–1100 m)
1 x 40 mm button
2 x wooden craft circles or bead circles
Strap – either a purchased/made strap or crochet strap using the included basic instructions
Tapestry needle
