I’m an Australian crochet designer with a love for the unique, the quirky, and the slightly dramatic. I’m known for giving my patterns distinctive names, and many of them come with their own little backstory—because if I’m going to spend 200+ hours designing something, it deserves a proper identity.
I also have a bit of an obsession with dragonflies, and they’ve fluttered their way into many of my designs. At this point, they’re basically my unofficial brand ambassadors.
I genuinely love designing—taking a skein of yarn and turning it into something magical, useful, and occasionally a little bit “how on earth did that happen?”. But if I’m being honest… the real reason I crochet is because punching people is frowned upon. Apparently.
I’m incredibly lucky to have an amazing team of pattern testers, with a wide range of crochet abilities, who help make my patterns what they are. I believe credit should always be given where it’s due, so you’ll often find tester photos and acknowledgements included in my patterns. If extra pages aren’t your thing, feel free to skip printing them and save your ink (and your sanity).
I also run a blog, where you’ll find crochet ramblings, design updates, tips, and whatever else happens to tumble out of my brain at the time.
And if you haven’t already, be sure to check out my Members Area. It’s completely free to join, and it’s where I share things like launch-day promo codes, occasional freebies, and member-only pattern downloads.
Most importantly—enjoy creating. Crochet should be fun, relaxing, and satisfying… not an emotional breakdown wrapped in yarn.
If you run into trouble with one of my patterns, please contact me and give me a chance to help. I’m always happy to troubleshoot and sort things out where I can. Negative reviews can have a real impact on small businesses, and they genuinely upset me—especially when the issue could often be fixed with a quick message. I take great pride in my designs, and I want you to have a wonderful experience making them.
One more thing worth noting: my crochet tension tends to be firm, and my stitches are often a little shorter than average. Keep that in mind when working through my patterns, especially if you crochet loosely.
