Candy Stripe Bag
The sweetest treasures are not always the treats we collect, but the memories we carry home with us.
Candy Stripe Bag
Crochet terminology: Both US and UK.
Sometimes the sweetest things aren't the lollies themselves... they're the memories they leave behind.
Filled with treats for Christmas or maybe Halloween. Perhaps as an end of year gift or a joke secret santa. It doesn’t have to be lollies. Fill it with the gift of your choice.
This pattern is a joy to create. Watching the simple stitches grow into a unique rippled effect.
Worked in joined rounds using the Herringbone Half Double Crochet stitch, each colour change creates a distinctive stepped stripe that spirals gently around the bag. This pattern is a joy to create. Watching the simple stitches grow into a unique rippled effect.

The orange and black version gives it a completely different personality for Halloween, while pastels, bold brights or while pastels, bold brights or elegant neutrals make it suitable for any season.
The pattern includes both Fingering Weight (4 ply) and DK Weight (8 ply) versions, allowing you to choose the yarn that best suits your project.
