Watch the dragonflies as they parade past!

This pattern is a reworking of my Flight of the Dragonfly Blanket.

I have used the same stitch combination to create a blanket in a rectangle shape worked in rows. It comprises basic stitches, with a pattern repeat.

This is a written pattern some pictures. It has a section for special stitches. A colour block graph is included. To understand colour block graphs (Click here).

Tassels are used on the bottom and top edging. .

Finished Measurements: (if gauge is met).

·      102cm/40.1 inches width.

·       135cm/53.1inches length. Tassels not included.

Materials:

6mm/J hook

7 balls x Cleckheaton Merino Light & Airy Dk. 75g per ball 210m per ball. Approximate total of yarn used 1450m/1585.7yd if gauge is met.

This blanket was produced first in Cleckheaton Merino Light & Airy with a 6mm hook to achieve a draped look, with a soft fluff to it. The second blanket used the incredibly soft Bendigo Woollen Mill Luxury 8ply. I believe this pattern to be very versatile. A smaller yarn could be used, creating a firmer look and smaller blanket.
