Dragonfly Citadel Blanket!

A citadel not of stone, but of wings and light — where dreams rest under gentle watch.

$9.50

Dragonfly Citadel is another venture into my signature theme of dragonflies. Designed for intermediate crocheters, it combines post stitches, popcorn stitches, and touches of filet crochet to create a richly textured, unique hexagon-shaped blanket.

The pattern avoids an obvious repeat, allowing the design to unfold gradually as you work, keeping each section interesting and engaging.

YarnArt Flowers was chosen for its beautiful slow gradient, creating a striking fade through to purple. To achieve this smooth flow of colour, the blanket is worked from alternating cakes, cutting at each colour change. While this does mean a few extra ends to sew in, the overall effect is well worth the effort
