CLOVER CHALLENGE. We all know that a four leaf clover is a rare thing!! This shawl has three leaf clovers throughout. The challenge is to place one (JUST ONE) four leaf clover somewhere in the shawl. Be sure to show off your shawl on social media so I can see who took the clover challenge. Use the tag #fishingforluckshawl.
Crochet terminology: Both US and UK. and now available in NL
This is a written pattern with photos and graphs.
This pattern is comprised of basic stitches. Fishing for Luck uses one full Scheepjes Whirl for 14 repeats of the pattern (click here for Scheepjes Whirl). This creates a long rectangle shawl. A shorter shawl is achieved using less pattern repeats, but for the full colour change effect of a whirl I recommend 14 repeats.
This is a fun shawl to work up and watch grow. It incorporates Filet work with small clovers hanging at the ends. These are staggered to give a unique look.
