Who says making little crochet squares isn’t interesting!
This shawl incorporates small squares and half squares. This uses the join as you go method of connecting the squares/shapes in columns, with only the corners touching. This technique makes the use of negative space to create a shawl that is just a bit different! Fringe is then added to create a unique look.
I worked with yarn from Glenheaven Knits.
Jenece from Glenheavan Knits is an Australian Indie dyer whose yarns are something special.
I chose a lighter colour for the main body of the shawl, that being a gorgeous BFL Cashmere Silk. The accent colour is a deep purple sock yarn.
I wanted the purple to pop and draw the eye to the pattern created with the subtle splash of colour.

All my patterns go through a very stringent test process. The testing is carried out by my amazing pattern testers who form a very necessary part of creating patterns. They do an amazing job of finding all the places I have made really silly errors. They can also count and I have it on good authority that my counting could improve.
Below you can view some of my hard working pattern testers makes from this pattern.
