This fun, checkered crochet pumpkin brings a playful twist to the classic autumn vibes.

Designed to work up quickly in case you happen to need a last minute pumpkin or two.

Tapestry crochet is used to create linked stitches, worked into the back loop throughout the main body of the pattern. The top and bottom of the pumpkin are closed using a tapestry needle. A stick is inserted into the center of the pumpkin, followed by stuffing. Leaves and spirals are added before the final closure of the top.

Crochet terminology: Both US and UK Terms are available.
