One of the wonders of this world would surely be found in the beauty of butterflies!

Crochet terminology: Both US and UK.

This is a written pattern with photographs and graphs. The first few rounds has a symbol graph and the remaining rounds have a colour block graph. Each block of colour indicates a stitch.

This pattern is worked in rounds and is comprised of basic stitches, with some more complex special stitches. The butterfly used in this design is my own combination of stitches to create a unique butterfly shape. The ability to work special stitches is required.

Many different yarns could be used for this design, I used Hobbii Cotton Kings Twirl Beautyberry col 7 and worked from 2 cakes alternating to use the same colour from each cake.

My testers used several different colorways and yarns with incredible results (view some of their work below.

3.5mm/E Hook

2 x Cotton Kings Twirls Beautyberry 200gms balls.  800m/per ball. Col: 7.

Approximate total yarn used: 1510m/1651.3yd
