About the Pattern

This design is worked in a manner similar to filet crochet; however, it is not a traditional filet style and does require slightly more concentration due to the stitches used. The pattern features a simple 8-row repeat and becomes quite enjoyable once memorised.

The butterflies are worked as you go down the side of the belt, and the belt itself is worked flat in rows.

A short video showing the butterfly section that was used in another design is available on my Youtube.

This belt is designed to sit at hip height but a smaller size could sit at the waist.
