Being fortunate enough to live in a rainforest environment, gives me plenty of opportunity to watch the dragonflies as they go about their day! Many of my designs are inspired by these gorgeous creatures!

This lightweight shawl was designed to blend in with their environment and to honour these amazing creature.

I used Wolltraum My Melody for this design, but any lightweight, similar yarn will work.

This is an intermediate level pattern.

Materials:

3.5mm/E hook Clover Armour Hook (click here for Clover Armour Hook)

1 x Wolltraum My Melody 4ply . Colour: Always. 450g per ball. Only 350g used. Yarn Me Calm (click here for supplier).

Approximate total of yarn used 1710m/1870yd if gauge is met. Yarn Me Calm (click here for supplier).

The edging is a traditional symbol graph.

Please note that this pattern is written for the size shown. The edging stitches work out correctly for this size. Any changes to the pattern will require your own recalculations.

Side edge: 12cm/4.7inches and 51cm/20 inches

Bottom: 118cm/46.4inches

Top: 175cm/68.8inches
