Easy Level

Stepping into a time machine and heading back to the days when Grandma always made a colourful rug of squares for your bed. This is my own version of the old knitted granny blanket. This is made in one piece with no joining.

An understanding of colour change technique and linked stitches is required.

Crochet terminology: Both US and UK.

This is a written pattern with photos and a graph for the edging.

Gauge:

17 Stitches to 10cm/4”. 11 Rows to 10cm/4” Measured over linked double crochet. Use linked double crochet to make a gauge swatch.

Finished Measurements:

Note the final measurements do not include the tassels.

·       Twin – 140.9cm/55.5inches  x 48.2/19inches.

·       Full – 170.1cm/67inches x 48.2/19inches.

·       Queen – 199.3cm/78.5 x 48.2/19inches.

·       King – 236.2cm/90inches x 48.2/19inches.
