Crochet terminology: Both US and UK.
This is a written pattern with photos and graphs.
This pattern is comprised of basic stitches and several special stitches. It uses my very own original stitch combination to produce a unique dragonfly that is specific to Auburncraft Crochet Design.
This pattern does not have a repeat and this is what tips it over the edge from easy level to easy intermediate.
Many different yarns could be used for this design, but I used Scheepjes Whirl in Forbidden Fuschia. (click here for Scheepjes Whirl).
Finished Measurements: If gauge is met, see the photograph right. Measurement from the centre to the top of round 12 is 9cm/3.5inches.
This pattern can be purchased using the buy it now function on this page to purchase a digital download PDF of the pattern, or it can also be found on Ravelry. (click here), on Etsy (click here*). and on Lovecrafts (click here).
Please note that this pattern is written for the size shown. The edging stitches work out correctly for this size. Any changes to the pattern will require your own recalculations for the edging.
Helpful tips: I am going to list any questions I receive from those making this blanket and their answers, below.
Q. Round 14 where do the Puff stitches sit. A. Work your corner as usual and then work your first puff stitch into the first Dc/Tr (depending on uk or us terms) of the round. Q. Confusion between the abbreviations PS, P.
A. PS is for popcorn stitch. P stands for Puff. The popcorn stitches are used for the flowers
