Tirari Desert Flower Ruana

All the colours of the desert flowers in one ruana!

$8.50 Au

Named after one of the Australian Deserts!

This is a one size fits most design made using mostly the very colourful Stylecraft Batik Dk. The model is 5 Ft 7 inches tall.

Basic stitches are used to create this design with surface slip stitch across many of the rows to create added texture.

It is made in panels. 2 front and one larger back panel. The flower squares are added later and I use a flat seam join to create a nice even, smooth seam.

This has a button closure if you require one and I also placed a third button on the shoulder so the ruana can be work with one side attach to one shoulder.

Crochet terminology: Both US and UK.

This is a written pattern with photographs.

I went in search of the perfect button closures for this design and stumbled upon these handmade buttons on Ebay. They are by Medieval Fight Club Australia and they do have their own webpage, although I am not sure that the buttons are always listed. I will add the link to their webpage in case anyone is interested and I do have to say that I just love them. Medieval Fight Club Australia
