Winter Enchantress Neck Warmer

October 8, 2024

Winter enchantress neck warmer

Spring days in Australia are slowly creeping toward the inevitable summer heat, but this is not the case for much of the other side of the world.

Winter is calling!

My new design was inspired by the tale of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, with the White Witch as the main focus.

The moment I put on my freshly finished neck warmer, I truly felt like an enchantress, stepping into the magical world of Narnia.

The neck warmer is made from Hobbii Soft Alpaca, and I have to say that not only is this yarn super soft and cozy, but it also adds to the whimsy of the piece and perfectly suits the fun style. Spirals, leaves, and tendrils of yarn create the warm fringe.

Winter can be a dreary time, with days full of gray. Sometimes it feels like it could go on forever, much like the 100 years of winter created by the White Witch of Narnia, but there is always room for a little bit of magic.
