There is something magical about spotting the silhouette of a Christmas tree. In an instant, thoughts turn to festive gatherings, treasured traditions and the warmth of the season.
Well... that's the sort of jargon one is supposed to write when launching two Christmas designs.
But then, I don't usually tow the line or say the right thing.
Let's be honest... Christmas can be a pain in the caboose. It sneaks up on you every year, and before you know it you're wondering where the time went and why you haven't started making any handmade gifts.
Thankfully, there is a cure.
No, I don't mean taking an anti-viral, locking all the doors, or embracing your inner Grinch.
I'm talking about Christmas in July!
Getting a head start means less panic, more crochet, and maybe even finishing before Christmas Eve for a change.
So today, I'm launching my own little Christmas in July with two festive designs that are unique, designed by a real hooman (not AI!), and quick enough that you won't still be crocheting them while Santa is hitching up the reindeer.
I See Christmas Trees
A lightweight scarf where delicate Christmas trees appear throughout the pattern. They're the kind of trees that seem to multiply... a bit like Santa's workload on Christmas Eve.

Candy Stripe Bag
This little Christmas bag is ready to hold all sorts of festive goodies. Fill it with chocolates for Secret Santa, homemade treats, or perhaps that slightly cheeky gift for the workmate who keeps stealing your favourite pen.
So if Christmas usually catches you by surprise, now is the perfect time to get ahead of the game.
Besides... if anyone asks why you're crocheting Christmas designs in July, just tell them you're being organised.
I'll know the truth. '
