Harlequin Rhapsody Scarf

September 21, 2024

Fun was the theme I was aiming for with this one! I wanted it to be unique with a playful feel to it.

Sooo, I decided to create a luxurious scarf in two contrasting colors, using a stitch I developed that results in a fully reversible scarf. This feature is achieved through a unique front/back post stitch. The final masterpiece is titled "Harlequin Rhapsody."

The legendary frontman of Queen was well known for his signature harlequin pattern featuring diamond shapes, which became a defining element of his style. This scarf pays homage to Freddie and his unique style. I am quite sure if he were still with us, that he would have been lining up to wear it.

The Hobbii Soft Alpaca that is used in this design is truly the softest yarn I have ever worked with. It was a joy to use!

I WILL of course be designing with Hobbii Soft Alpaca again as it is yummy!

The pattern is available on Ravelry, Etsy and coming soon to Hobbii Plus
